Costa Blanca Attractions

Apart from the golf courses the Costa Blanca Region offers a wide selection of attractions for the non-golfer.

The most famous attraction, north of Alicante, is Terra Mitica, where you canspend a whole day enjoying the rides in this theme park. Beside Terra Mitica is Aqualandia which is a vast water park with many sensational rides and also dolphin and sea lion shows. Great not only for the kids but also for adults.

The Region of Murcia Attractions

The capital, Murcia, is dominated by the Cathedral. Originally a mosque when Murcia was conquered by Jaime I in 1266 it was then converted into a cathedral. Until the middle of the 14th century the old mosque survived before it was demolished and a new temple built. This is the reason you can see various types of design both within the cathedral and outside.

Other places of interest within the city are the 23 churches each with a different architecture and design, various “palacios” which hold exhibitions regularly, the university, the city museum which has more than 2,000 years history of the city, the science and water museum, the hydraulics museum and the Ramon Gaya museum (one of Murcias most famous painters)

The La Torre Resort

Last summer the town centre became a huge entertainment arena where KOOL AND THE GANG gave an outdoor concert.
